Online Showroom
Overview
The Online Showroom, an online platform that helps Mercedes-Benz customers find their perfect car. Users can seamlessly navigate ‘New’ and ‘Used’ vehicles with a simple model lineup.
The website shows a livestock locator, which can be narrowed down by location. It has the capability to run a finance quote that includes the retailer’s best offer on a specific car. Standalone options have been packaged into well-equipped model lines, which means customers can compare different vehicles, retailers, and offers to ensure they get the best deal.
Continous design and development
Working with the UX lead, we are continuously adapting the online showroom. Adding in new features and functionality, improving the navigation from landing on the online showroom to putting down a deposit for a car, transforming the visual layout, exploring new visual features to distinguish Mercedes-Benz from their competitors.
Collaborating with the data analytics team, we can see how our customers are interacting with the site, identify pain points, and come that much closer to getting inside our customers head when it comes to purchasing a luxury car.

User persons were a great way to gain insight and explore various customers and retailers’ minds when designing new features and functionality in the online showroom.

Exploring how a user will navigate through the site when an added feature has been implemented is always necessary to ensure the customers will have limited pain points.
From a UX perspective, wireframes, especially within a complex site such as the online showroom, allow me to wrap my head around how the site comes together before any other design occurs.
